Get paid without showing your wallet.
TorTao sends ETH to a one-time address that only the recipient can open. People watching the chain see a payment to a stranger.
Reading Ethereum…
How a stealth payment works
- 1
The recipient creates a receiving code
One signature in their wallet produces it. They can hand it out like an email address, or publish it so their ENS name is enough.
- 2
You pay a brand-new address
Your browser combines their code with a random number and gets an address that has never existed. The ETH goes there, along with a short public note.
- 3
They find it and withdraw
Their key is the only one that can read the note and open the address. They move the money wherever they like, whenever they like.

Your address is a bank statement anyone can read.
Put a wallet on an invoice and your client can see every other client, what they paid, and what you did with it. Take a donation and the donor is tied to you for good.
We built this for the plain cases: getting paid for work, splitting a bill, receiving a gift. The sender still appears on-chain. What disappears is the line that leads to you.
What works today, and what doesn't
TorTao is a small project. We would rather tell you where the edges are than have you find them with real money.

- Live
Stealth ETH payments on Ethereum mainnet
Uses the shared ERC-5564 announcer, so payments are also visible to other compatible wallets.
- Live
Paying by address or ENS name
Reads the public ERC-6538 registry.
- Live
RPC relay
Free, no key. Read the limits below.
- Not built
Stealth payments in tokens (USDC, wTAO…)
The one-time address would need ETH for gas first. We haven't solved that cleanly.

Relaying through a Bittensor subnet
This is where the project is headed. Nothing runs on Bittensor today.
Use the relay in your own wallet
Add this as the RPC URL for Ethereum mainnet. Your wallet then talks to our relay, and the RPC provider behind it sees the relay's address instead of yours. Our code keeps no logs. The hosting platform still handles your connection, so treat this as one layer and combine it with a VPN or Tor if you need more.
/api/rpc/1Before you send real money
This software has not been audited. Start with an amount you can afford to lose. Your stealth keys come from your wallet's signature and never leave the browser tab. A sender who cancels the second transaction has announced a payment without funding it, which is harmless.
